Lenora Lee
Board Member
Lenora Lindsay Lee graduated in 1975 from Grimsley Senior High School in Greensboro. She retired after 17 years of service with the North Carolina A&T State University Police Department. Lenora manages the JustOne Foundation community garden on Maywood Street in Greensboro and works part-time with the NCATSU Police Department. Lenora loves exercising, swimming, and spending time with her two children and two grandchildren.
William J. Porter
Board Member
William Porter is an Army veteran and father of three children and five grandchildren. William is a member of PHA Masonic Lodge #12, Khalif Temple 144, Consistory of Greensboro #106, a Life Member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the National Association for Black Veterans. He attends Gardner Webb University in the Masters Program for Mental Health Counseling.
Ronald Listenberger
Board Member
Ron Listenberger is a retired Army veteran and former employee of the Guilford County Sheriff’s Department. He and his wife enjoy traveling to new places—especially historic sites. He also enjoys playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren.
Carl Brower
Board Member
Greensboro native Carl Brower began his 27-year career in university groundskeeping in 1987 at the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro. He quickly worked his way up through the ranks to become a grounds superintendent by 1995. He graduated from Grimsley High School with a bachelor of science degree from Barton College (formerly Atlantic Christian College). He chaired the City of Greensboro Parks and Recreation Commission as a dedicated community leader. He is a vice president of The Ole Asheboro Street Neighborhood Association.
Justin Washington
Founder and Executive Director
JustOne Foundation founder and executive director Justin Washington grew up as the youngest in a family of four children. They lived in a modest home at 615 Julian Street on the east side of Greensboro, North Carolina. Justin and his wife, a retired school principal, have two grown daughters, both with careers in the military and law enforcement, and two grandchildren. In his spare time, Justin enjoys cross-training and riding his motorcycle.
Mark T. Hodge
Board Member
Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Mark Hodge has lived in Charlotte since 2006. He spent 21 years in the United States Navy as a Logistics Specialist and earned a bachelor’s degree in technical management. Mark and his wife Tangela have been married for more than 28 years. They have two children and two grandchildren. Mark’s passions are spending time with family and friends, taking cruises, and “helping anyone who crosses my path in a time of need.”
Angela Marie Swann-Jones
Board Member
A native of Alamance, Caswell, and Robeson Counties, Angie is a graduate of South Lumberton Jr.-Sr. High School in Lumberton, NC, Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, with a BS degree in Psychology, and North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC, with an MS degree in Education.
Angie began her career in customer service with Ohio Bell and eventually transferred to AT&T in technology in 1983. She retired early in 1998 as an International Project Manager. Angie retired in 2015 as the Director of Project Management/Technology Training at North Carolina A&T State University, where she led a team of Project Managers and delivered faculty and staff technology training.
After retirement, she shared her talents with nonprofit organizations, educational institutes, churches, small rural towns, community colleges across North Carolina, and the NC Black Mayors Association. With her love of teaching, she facilitated various entrepreneur courses. She volunteered as the Lead for the AARP National Technology Training Team where she trained Zoom courses to volunteers and staff during the pandemic across the United States, as well as caregiving, fraud, and decluttering sessions for Senior Centers, churches, and other nonprofit organizations in the Triad region. She has also volunteered with Justone Foundation for the past five years with various projects. She is an avid reader and loves journaling, blogging, traveling, canning, and sewing. She is a member of the Greensboro Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is currently researching her family ancestry and documenting her family history.
